Our Commitment to Safety
9 Questions is committed to providing a safe environment for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), human trafficking, and any form of abuse or exploitation on our platform.
Age Requirements
9 Questions is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We enforce this through:
- Requiring date of birth during registration
- Verifying users are 18+ before they can access the platform
- Promptly removing any accounts found to belong to minors
Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
We maintain strict policies and procedures to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE:
Prevention
- Age verification at registration requiring users to be 18+
- Clear Terms of Service prohibiting illegal content and behavior
- User education about safe online practices
Detection
- In-app reporting tools for users to flag concerning behavior
- Review of reported content and accounts by our moderation team
- Monitoring for patterns of predatory behavior
Response
- Immediate removal of any CSAE material discovered on the platform
- Permanent ban of accounts involved in CSAE
- Reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law
- Cooperation with law enforcement investigations
- Preservation of evidence for legal proceedings
Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are strictly prohibited on 9 Questions:
- Any sexual content involving minors
- Solicitation of minors
- Grooming behavior
- Human trafficking
- Non-consensual sexual content
- Harassment, threats, or abuse of any kind
- Impersonation or fraudulent accounts
Violation of these policies results in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities.

If you encounter concerning behavior or content, please report it immediately:

All reports are reviewed by our safety team and appropriate action is taken promptly.
Cooperation with Authorities
We work closely with law enforcement and organizations dedicated to child safety:
- We report all apparent violations of laws relating to CSAE to NCMEC via their CyberTipline
- We respond promptly to valid legal requests from law enforcement
- We preserve evidence as required for investigations
User Safety Tips
We encourage all users to:
- Never share personal identifying information (address, workplace, etc.) with matches until you've established trust
- Meet in public places for first dates
- Tell a friend or family member about your plans when meeting someone
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, report it
- Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior immediately
