9 Questions is a text-only dating app, which means there are no photos and nothing to look at but what someone wrote. You answer at least nine questions, skipping any that don't speak to you, and other people read those answers when they decide whether they want to match. If you both do, you can talk. Be yourself. You might be asked what villain you most identify with, what you would want to be famous for, a mistake that caused you to change, the holiday you would invent, or the question you wish it were appropriate to ask someone you just met.
